Der texanische Singer\/Songwriter\/Musiker Aaron Einhouse, der letztes Jahr mit seinem saustarken Album „It Ain’t Pretty<\/a>“ \u00fcberzeugt hatte,\u00a0berichtet uns \u00fcber seine aktuelle Situation und sein derzeitiges Treiben.<\/p>\n

Hallo Aaron, vielen Dank, dass du dich f\u00fcr ein Interview zur Verf\u00fcgung stellst.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Ich hoffe deine Familie, Freunde, Bekanntschaften und Fans in Texas sind von den klimatischen Katastrophen der letzten Wochen verschont geblieben, wie ist die momentane Lage in Texas?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Gl\u00fccklicherweise war niemand aus meiner Familie betroffen, auch allen meinen Freunden geht es soweit gut. Es gab aber einen erheblichen Schaden rund um Houston und um Teile der K\u00fcste. Wir sind sehr gl\u00fccklich, dass es sehr viele hilfsbereite Leute gibt – innerhalb wie auch au\u00dferhalb der Musikszene. Ich m\u00f6chte mir gar nicht vorstellen, wie hart es ist, was da einige Leute zur Zeit durchmachen. Viele haben ihre H\u00e4user und all ihre Besitzt\u00fcmer verloren.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Du bist in unseren Gefilden ein weitestgehend unbeschriebenes Blatt. Erz\u00e4hl mal bitte ein wenig \u00fcber deinen musikalischen Werdegang.<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Meine ersten musikalischen Ber\u00fchrungspunkte gab es, als ich die Vinyl-Sammlung meiner Mutter durchh\u00f6rte. Meistens Classic Rock. Mit der Country Musik ging es auf der High School los. Dort begann ich mich auch in die texanische Musik einzutauchen und bekam kurze Zeit sp\u00e4ter eine Gitarre. Es dauerte dann nicht lang bis anfing, Songs zu schreiben.<\/p>\n

\nSounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Dein aktuelles Album „It Ain’t Pretty“ fanden wir ‚pretty good‘, ja, wir z\u00e4hlten es zu den besten Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen unseres Jahres 2016. Wo siehst du \u00fcberhaupt noch Steigerungspotential?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Danke Mann! Man versucht immer noch st\u00e4rkere St\u00fccke zu schreiben und ein besserer Musiker zu werden.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Welche sind\u00a0 deine bisherigen bevorzugten Live-Locations, auf welcher B\u00fchne und mit welchen Musikern w\u00fcrdest in deinen Tr\u00e4umen du gerne mal unbedingt stehen?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Die Gruene Hall hier in New Braunfels nat\u00fcrlich. Einer meiner gr\u00f6\u00dften Lieblingsmusiker ist Robert Earl Keen<\/a>. Er ist ein gro\u00dfartiger Storyteller. Tolle Geschichten haben mich auch schon immer angesprochen. Das ist auch das, was mich in die Americana- und Countrymmusik hineingezogen hat.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> W\u00fcrdest du ggfs. \u00e4hnlich wie z.B. die Randy Rogers Band<\/a>, Wade Bowen<\/a> & Co. einen Gang nach Nashville wagen, oder bleibst\u00a0du da ganz Texaner?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Ich mache schon ein wenig in Nashville, zum Teil ein bisschen Schreiben und Aufnehmen. Da gibt es so viele talentierte Leute. Aber meine Planung l\u00e4uft dahin, immer Texas als Heimat\u00a0zu behalten.<\/p>\n

\"Einhouse_profil\"<\/strong>Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Wie findest du eigentlich unser Magazin?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Sounds Of South ist ein\u00a0<\/strong>Killer Magazin! Ich finde es echt cool, dass ihr bei euch beleuchtet, was in unserer Szene passiert. Es ist klasse, dass ihr euch so in unsere Musik reinh\u00e4ngt, die wir soweit entfernt von euch machen. Daf\u00fcr bin ich euch echt dankbar. Es ist in der heutigen Zeit sehr einfach zu vergessen, wie universell und verbindend Musik sein kann.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Eine politische Frage:\u00a0Wie beurteilst du als Texaner die bisherige Amtszeit eures Pr\u00e4sidenten, die ja hier in Europa recht kritisch be\u00e4ugt wird.<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Ich bin kein Fan von ihm…<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Du bist ja ansonsten ein sehr bodenst\u00e4ndiger Mensch. Wie bekommst du die Musik und die Familie mit deinen wilden Kindern unter ein Dach?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Ich versuche zurecht zu kommen. Es ist manchmal ganz sch\u00f6n hart, aber ich versuche immer Zeit zu finden, um Zeit mit ihnen zu verbringen. Sie sind f\u00fcr mich das Wichtigste.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Welche Hobbies hast du noch, au\u00dfer reichhaltig dekorierte Teller (wie du immer in Facebook postest) zu verspeisen…? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Haha, Jagen und Fischen, eigentlich \u00fcberhaupt\u00a0Zeit an der frischen Luft zu verbringen, wenn es die Zeit erlaubt.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> I hope your family, friends and fans, etc. in Texas weren’t affected concerning the climatic catastrophies of the last weeks. How is the actual situation in Texas?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Luckily, none of my family was affected and all of my friends relations are doing well. There was some very substantial damage done to Houston and parts of the coast. We are fortunate to have so many people who are willing to help in and out of the music scene. I can’t imagine how tough it would be to go through what some of those people went through. Many lost their homes and all of their posessions.<\/p>\n

\"18446997_10155028980228855_2741428133959556265_n\"<\/strong>Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> In Germany you’ve been a ‚blank sheet‘ up to now. Please tell us a little bit of your musical background.<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> I first got into music listening to my mother’s vinyl collection. Classic Rock mostly. I got into country music in High School. Then I started getting into Texas music when I was in high school and got a guitar shortly after. Then not long afer that started writing songs.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> We liked your common album „It Ain’t Pretty“ pretty much! From our point of view it was one of the best releases in 2016 . Where do you see any potential for improvement?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Thanks man! Ya always trying to write better songs and get better as a musician.<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Gonna release a few singles before I do another full length album. New single – www.johnscamaro.com<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Which are your favourite live locations? Where and with what kind of musicians you would like to share the stage in your dreams?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Gruene Hall down here in New Braunfels for sure. One of my favorites is Robert Earl Keen. He’s a great storyteller. I’m always attracted to a good story. That’s what appeals to me about country\/americana music.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Would you risk to go to Nashville like the Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen & Co, if there’s a chance or do\u00a0you stay a Texican to the core?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> I already do a little bit in Nashville, writing and a little recording. There’s so much talent up there. I plan to always keep my home in Texas.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> What do you think about our Magazine ‚Sounds Of South‘?<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> Killer magazine!!! I just think it’s so cool that you cover what is going on in our scene over there. It’s pretty awesome to me that y’all are so into this music we make so far away. I am grateful for it. It’s easy to forget these days how universal and uniting music can be.<\/p>\n

Sounds Of South:<\/span><\/strong> Can I just ask you a political question: What do you say about the work and the decisions of your current president so far? In Europe he has been critized a lot.<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span> <\/strong> I’m not a fan.<\/p>\n

Aaron Einhouse:<\/span><\/strong> I just try to get by. It’s tough sometime, but I do a lot to make sure I get to spend time with them. They are the most important thing to me.<\/p>\n
